The problem
My own build, to work out how to keep a pile of content organized. Going in there was no identity, no structure to the posts, and no way to browse them by the kind of trip they described.
What I did
Made the identity from scratch, logo and palette, then built the blog on a CMS with real categories and filtering, on a layout that stays out of the way of the writing.
Where it stands
Live. Adding a post is a CMS entry, not a rebuild.
